- 1 kg geschilde en van klokhuis ontdane appels

- 150 gram rozijnen
- 1 theelepel gemberpoeder
- 1 theelepel zout
- snufje cayennepeper
- 2 theelepels kruidnagelpoeder
- 2,5 dl witte wijnazijn
- 500 gram (licht)bruine suiker
Bereiding
Schil de appels, verwijder de klokhuizen en snijd ze in stukjes. Pel de uien en snijd ze in stukjes. Doe de appels met de uien, de rozijnen, de kruiden, azijn en de suiker in een pan en breng op middelmatig vuur aan de kook. Laat de chutney op een laag vuur ongeveer 40 minuten koken. Roer regelmatig.
Doe de chutney in potten en sluit ze direct.
N.B. Potten een tijdje wegzetten. De chutney is na een paar maanden goed op smaak.
